This review might be a bit under the influence, but I’m trusting my notes. Also, the booziness led to some extreme dancing on Vanderbilt, when I was drinking it I somehow was telling people it was 6.5% alcohol by volume… Oops (it’s 10.5).
The appearance is a dirty amber – cloudy, almost cidery looking, with a nice head. Smell is flowery, and very aromatic. Didn’t notice the booze mentioned in the other reviews.Taste is a little yeasty, features nice round malts and has a sweet and tart citrus hop finish. Feels good because it’s a medium-body with solid carbonation, and except for the booze in it, it’s a highly drinkable brew.
My first Kuhnhenn beverage, definitely not my last.
